All our guides have been working on the mountain from porters all the way up to guides. They will not only show you the route on Kilimanjaro but they are companions as well. Our guides have good English and are more than willing to share their knowledge on all aspects of Kilimanjaro, as well as, Tanzania culture and life. An essential part of a guide’s job is organizing the day to day logistics, making sure that everything runs smoothly and the service you receive is unparallel. Our guides monitor all aspects of the climb - which includes your health, pace, and comfort. They are also there to ensure that all crew members are well looked after.

Mrs. Shariffa H. Mauly Is a true visionary in the tourism industry, with a career spanning 25 years as a tour expert. In 1985, when Shariffa took over his late husband’s small tour business, the company offered just mountain hiking on the Kilimanjaro and Meru mountains and very few safaris itineraries. Today, Mauly Tours & Safaris operates over 100 land safaris and wilderness adventures, bringing thousands of travelers from more than 30 countries worldwide each year.

Mozzah Mauly Is the Managing Director of Mauly Tours & Safaris. She is also a member of the company's Board of Directors. Mozzah is responsible for shaping the company’s long-term strategic direction, implementing its short- and mid-term strategic plans, maintaining Mauly Tours unique corporate culture and commitment to excellence, and overseeing Mauly Tours day-to-day operations.

Samira Mauly Is a Board Director and Operations Director for the company with the most time consuming job of all. As a teenager and during her early twenties, Samira worked in a variety of roles for Mauly (including reservations and giving tour briefs to the clients).

Sales Team Given the amount of business we produce, we enjoy excellent cooperation from the hoteliers and other suppliers, especially concerning reserving their services. This gives us some useful leeway to sell, up to the last moment. We don’t close sales at Mauly Tours. This is particularly true for the regula r departures that we operate daily.

Marketing Team It is exciting to be part of the growth of Mauly Tours. As a Marketing team, it is important for us that our products continue to meet the ever-changing demands of our customers. Each of our travelers completes an evaluation form at the end of their trip. We feel that each of these evaluations is an essential procedure in helping us better understand our clients’ desires to continue providing the services they enjoy.
